Responding to TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu’s comments that his party is not in a position to spend crores to woo the voters and considering the idea of not contesting in by-polls, targetting Congress or YSR Congress, Kovur MLA Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy said,”I think, Chandrababu has lost his mind. Though he is trying desperately to come back to power, the
people of the state aren’t in a position to trust him anymore. He has gone completely mad. It was Chandrababu, who spoiled the entire system by wooing voters with notes and liquor.” He also said that he might has lost deposit in the recent by-poll, if he had contested on any other party ticket, other that YSR Congress party.
“I feel lucky to enter the Assembly as YSR Congress party’s second legislator. With the blessings of YS Jagan and Vijayamma garu, I contested in the Kovur by-poll. The people of constituency has voted for the welfare and developments programmes during the tenure of late YSR as chief minister. If I had contested on the TDP or Congress ticket, I may have lost deposit,” he said.
