CID rescues 10 girls from trafficking

In another inter-state operation by the Anti Human Trafficking Unit of Women Protection Cell, CID arrested three traffickers and rescued ten girls hailing from Mumbai. In a press release here today, the CID said during the course of investigation on the complaint made by Mr Ahamad Ali, Director of Rescue and Restoration Programme in the NGO, ‘Prajwala’, here, it came to light that the accused Bassa Anitha (35) of Mumbai, along with other accused Pasupuleti Veeramani, Theegala Nagamani of West Godavari district and Chitikina Trimurthulu Krishna (absconding) had taken the girls to Mumbai and other places for Commercial Sexual Exploitation.
