Second Metropolitan Megistrate has convicted Gaddam Chandrasekhar and sentenced him to undergo simple imprisonment for three years for demanded dowry. Police today said a Muslim woman was duped by the accused in the name of love. The accused and his father had demanded Rs five lakh as dowry. On completion of investigation, the accused was arrested and charge sheet was filed by the Women Protection Cell of CID.
