Andhra Pradesh Minister for Information and Technology Ponnala Lakshmaiah today said he had received the notices issued by the CBI last night in connection with the disproportionate assets case involving Kadapa Lok Sabha MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. ‘I will present myself before the CBI and cooperate with the investigating officials’, Mr Ponnala told newspersons at Warangal. The CBI had issued notices to the Minister last night in pursuance of Supreme Court Directions about Government Orders and asked him to appear before it on June 7. The Supreme Court in March this year had ordered investigation against six Ministers and 8 IAS officers in connection with the 26 Controversial GOs issued by the Y S Rajasekhara Reddy Government. Already the CBI had questioned Home Minister Sabita Indira Reddy and Roads and Transport Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao in the illegal assets case and allgedly involved in issuance of GOs.
