Crazy director Puri Jagannadh went into a brief shell of sorts after scoring his blockbuster hit ‘Pokiri’ and he came up with duds. However, he is currently on a second innings of sorts and is coming up with some dynamic measures when it comes to the speed of making movies.
Now, it looks like Puri has got a target and a formula. Apparently, sources say he charges Rs 5 crores as remuneration per film. And he has been aiming to come up with atleast 4 films in one year. Other than remuneration he takes profit sharing which turns around 4-5 crores per film. If this gets executed successfully, Puri would be earning an easy Rs 35-40 crores per annum. Which means this is more than what prince Mahesh Babu earns (excluding ads) in an year.
And if that figure works then he becomes the highest earning director in Tollywood. On the other hand, he would also be beating the big league heroes in terms of their remuneration as they come up with just one film per year. This sure is an inspiring and smart business move by this talented director.
