The Nani-Samantha starrer Eega, which created waves at the Southern box office a couple of months back, is all game to release in the Hindi version as Makki on October 12. And Reliance Entertainment is releasing Makki on a grand scale.
Initially, the makers of Eega did plan to make it in 3D as the animated fly makes for great three-dimensional visuals but they had to drop the idea because it was time-consuming.
Rajamouli’s Eega has also earned a place as one of the all-time best earners in overseas markets. M. M. Keeravani composed the film’s music while K. K. Senthil Kumar handled cinematography and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao helmed the editing. So with Rajamouli’s path breaking special effects extravaganza Eega making its debut in Bollywood, will it be able to recreate the magic there? Let’s wait and see.
