Director Rajamouli is very much disappointed with Eega at box-office; His two years hard work did not give him fruitful result as expected with Eega.
Rajamouli’s Magadheera which was released in 2009 created a sensation to become a industry hit and later many films from star heroes were hits but could not cross its record, then came Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbarsingh which was made a young director with 3 films experience none other than Harish Shankar, the movie shake box-office with its collection Tsunami and is officially declared as No: 1 of Tollywood. Rajamouli’s Eega which was supposed to release in summer was postponed and extra bits like Chiranjeevi, NTR dance ,Mahesh babu’s mannerism were added to hit to make it a industry it . But still it could not reach the expected goal.
Eega opened very big with all prerelease hypes and later with Rajamouli’s publicity almost for 2 weeks had given Eega a good position at box-office. Later he came to know the real stamina of Eega and stopped the publicity on daily basis and Eega collections graph fall further low. With this experience Rajamouli has decided to make an Industry hit movie with Prabhas at any cost for this he has fixed a time bound schedule instead of taking 2 more years for it. He wants to follow the young directors’ trend to make good money as every movie success deals with money after all.
