No doubt both Rajamouli and Shankar are a creative directors , With Eega being declared a sensaional hit , Rajamouli almost occupied the throne South india’s top director position. But tamil media seems not in a position to accept this fact. As Shankar name and fame on risk at this moment with Nanban being a average flick.
Tamil media especially web media started writing baseless articles on Eega. Latest among them, They are trying to prove that Eega was inspired from Shankar’s Robo. If one can remember the mosquito episode in Robo where a mosquito tries to bites the heroine and Robo (Rajanikanth ) chases it and find it and makes it to tell sorryto heroine. Keeping this in mind tamil web media stated that Rajamouli’s Eega was inspired from Robo, with a revenge script adding some masala to it and prove himself a creative director.
They also mentioned that Eega is a fairy tale story for kids strictly. But as the matter of fact Eega story line was in Rajamouli’s mind for past 10 ten years and had got chance to execute it now. Robo was made with 100 crores but Eega is made with just 30 crores , this is a great achievement for Rajamouli . Knowing the calibre of Rajamouli it a shame for tamil web media to come up with such base less stories.
